Originally from England with a 12 year stop over in New Zealand, Janice & Peter moved to Australia in their fifties. While still offshore they enjoyed a holiday home at Sanctuary Cove and their three children completed their education at Bond University on the Gold Coast. During their trips here Janice & Peter visited Mount Tamborine regularly and finalised their dream to get out of the rat race early and take semi-retirement. They sold up in New Zealand and their home in Sanctuary Cove and moved in to Camelot.
Lifestyle in the Hinterland!
Janice & Peter had seen the opportunity to take a refurbished farmhouse with a recently built B&B guest wing and develop it to include some luxury cottages for couples. Having been well travelled around the world they set out to achieve a high quality product at an affordable price. However, lifestyle was and is important to them, and being avid golfers, several days a week sees them off the Mountain at Sanctuary Cove playing competition golf and Peter takes regular deep sea fishing trips off the Gold Coast and elsewhere. The village lifestyle suits them and they continue to eat out locally and visit all the mountain attractions thereby ensuring they can recommend the excellent range of products and establishments on the Mountain with good knowledge. They look forward to eventually passing Camelot on and joining the Grey Nomads.
